About this Nominee
The mission of "A Night of Giving Back" is to bring joy to children in the pediatric cancer ward during the holidays by raising funds for the City of Hope Pediatric Cancer Center through the collection and raffling of gift cards and certificates. The organization's goal is to unite local businesses in a collaborative effort to support and bring smiles to children battling cancer. For the past 11 years, we’ve hosted an annual fundraising event at Chase’s Restaurant in La Verne. What began as a personal gesture of thanks has grown into a tradition rooted in community, generosity, and hope. The team at Chase’s has been an extraordinary partner – welcoming us year after year and donating a portion of the evening’s proceeds to support the City of Hope Children’s Cancer Center. It is an honor to turn my own journey into a way to support theirs, and to do so alongside a business that so genuinely believes in giving back.
